Designed by Dylan Freeth, 2015

Designed in 2015 by Dylan Freeth, the MARINO SOFA is an indulgence that is best appreciated when shared with another — whether it be with a loved one, dear friend or a new acquaintance.

Outfitted with soft, pillowy upholstery and gently upturned armrests, the MARINO SOFA makes for a handsome and practical centerpiece, perfect for the modern curator’s parlour or living room. The MARINO SOFA features Windsor-inspired turned spindles and a steam-bent ash crest rail. Achieved using traditional woodworking methods, these time-honoured details pay homage to the rich history and artistic heritage of Lucian Ercolani, both as a craftsman and a designer.

Built in solid ash, the MARINO SOFA is offered in nine bespoke finishes, including a soothing natural finish and the new, bold MODERN TONES series by Christian Møller Andersen. The MARINO SOFA is also available in a variety of harmonious textiles and colour-palettes.

Product Description

Inspired by L.Ercolani’s classic blend of elegance and refinement, the MARINO COLLECTION exudes the timeless appeal of Lucian Eroclani’s early designs. Designer, Dylan Freeth draws on his understanding of traditional craftsmanship and form to create subtle, sophisticated furnishings that inspire contentment and focus. With references to L.Ercolani’s portfolio of design classics, the MARINO COLLECTION is a harmonious merger of old and new, blending tradition and innovation in an appealing, highly-cohesive aesthetic language.

Designed to comfortably seat two users, the MARINO SOFA is an indulgence that is best appreciated when shared with another — whether it be with a loved one, dear friend or a new acquaintance. Outfitted with soft, pillowy upholstery and gently upturned armrests, the MARINO SOFA makes for a handsome and practical centerpiece, perfect for the 21st century curator’s parlour or living room. Regardless of its surroundings, the settee’s supportive, ergonomic frame allows users to sink into its deep cushioning, embracing its easy elegance and soothing materiality.

The MARINO SOFA features Windsor-inspired turned spindles and a steam-bent ash crest rail. Achieved using traditional woodworking methods, these time-honoured details pay homage to the rich history and artistic heritage of Lucian Ercolani, both as a craftsman and a designer.
